Join me for short break of reflection and enjoy a cup of poetry.
ah if only....to walk the paths of those that came before us and learn their magic...i could get down with that...smiles.
I know the pull of vising one's ancestors' land ~ If only I could too ~
Yes - and it calls from all over the world - rice paddies, tea plantations, emerald isle--thanks. k.
What's stopping you?
I've Irish blood running through me, too. Oh, how I'd like to go there one day.
I feel it too... that pull. It's as though the earth breathes there when you step upon ancestral pathways. Lovely poem.
It's always good to go back to your roots !!!
there sure is magic in walking these paths.. hope you can make it one day.. ireland just breathes beauty and history..
.. you could... you only have to move your feet & a li'l drop of courage & trust... go on... life is too short for regrets.. smiles...
I plan to go next year for the first time...my roots are in County Cork...so I hear you!! I hear the call.
Lovely, so many people live uprooted from where they feel they are coming from. A very strong take.
very nostalgic, an everyday story of migration for bread and shelter.
A beautiful picture of green and it tells the tale of longing for one's roots.
I have been and yearn to go back. You leave a piece of your heart there when you go, it is mystical, magical, and it is always calling to your soul. Lovely format, loved the image too!
Praise, constructive criticism, and discussions welcome. Pure negativity and rudeness will not be approved or tolerated.
