A to Z Poetry: Tyburn Peoms



A tyburn poem is a six line poem consisting of 2, 2, 2, 2, 9, 9 syllables, with the first four lines consisting of descriptive rhyming words and the  last two lines rhyme while  incorporating the first, second, third, and fourth lines as the 5th through 8th syllables.

Queen of Hearts' Nightmare

Blurry
Fuzzy
Hazy
Foggy
The Queen dreamt of blurry, fuzzy pawns
Attacking hearts ‘til hazy, foggy dawn
