A to Z Poetry: Grook Poems

A grook poem is a short aphoristic poem invented by the Danish poet and scientist Piet Hein. They are characterized by irony, paradox, brevity, precise use of language, sophisticated rhythms and often satiric nature.

An eye for eye
leaves us all blind
but to seek justice
we must truly be blind
